This event will offer a platform to hear first-hand from the European Parliament, European Commission, European Cities/Regions and Member States about how they are supporting the implementation of Public Procurement of Innovative Solutions (PPI) and Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) in order to intensify a balanced innovation process. The two funding instruments are available for public Innovation Procurement on all levels (local, regional and national) and can furthermore be used for synergies between the new EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation HORIZON 2020 and the new Structural Funds 2014-2020.

There will be the opportunity to learn directly from participants in innovation procurement programmes about the process involved, their experience, lessons learned and outcomes achieved. You will meet partners from European Cities, Regions and Member States, public policy officials, procurement experts and other innovation procurement policy stakeholders.
